作为《Mega Man》30周年和《Mega Man X》25周年的纪念，动作游戏名作《Mega Man X》系列8套作品以合集形式重新登场。
合集1收录了系列初期的《Mega Man X》-《X4》的移植版。（另有收录《X5》-《X8》的合集2）
除了游戏本篇以外，还有收录大量画作丶BGM丶商品目录等珍贵资料的「Museum」；同时面对两个头目的「X 挑战」；以及收集要素「Hunter Medal」等充实的内容。
